Sting scores another hit with his concert in Panama...

British singer-songwriter Sting and the Panamanian salsa singer got an enthusiastic crowd in Panama singing and dancing, enjoying the different rhythms each performed.

Blades, who lives in the United States, delighted his fellow countrymen with nine songs, two of them from his most recent album, titled "Tiempos," and the rest were familiar stories among Panamanians, like the immortal Pedro Navaja.

One of the most emotional moments of Blades' performance on Saturday night was his performance of "Patria." In addition to closing his performance, Sting came on stage with a Panamanian flag on his shoulder and draped it over the body of his emotional friend.

The gesture drew applause and expressions of appreciation from the 15,000 Panamanians who gathered at the National Stadium on Saturday, who welcomed the English rocker with the same enthusiasm as their compatriot.

The former lead singer of The Police sang around twenty songs, including several from his first solo album, "The Dream of the Blue Turtles," and "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free" ignited the already warm atmosphere.

Afterward, Sting performed songs like "Roxanne," "Message in the Bottle," "After the Rain," "All This Time," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "English Man in New York," "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You," and "Brand New Day," all the while keeping the audience singing along and dancing on their chairs.

Several times, Sting's fans raised their lit lighters while singing along to the British singer's popular songs, both from his time as the lead singer of The Police and from his solo career.

Despite the cultural differences, Sting fully identified with the audience, greeting them and addressing them several times in Spanish throughout the concert. He also emotionally expressed his gratitude for the welcome and support he received throughout his performance.

In addition to having to return to the stage three times to continue performing his music and lyrics, Sting closed the evening by performing the song "Fragile" with Blades, who at the end announced his intention to record a future album together.
